These terms govern your use of DesignerX (the “Service”) at designerx.3dbuildx.com, operated by 3DBuildX of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada (“3DBuildX”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
DesignerX is a browser-based tool for designing 3D-printable items such as nameplates, keychains, tags and signs, and for exporting files (STL, 3MF, OBJ). We may change, add or remove features at any time.
2. Your account
You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been misused.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the designs and files you create or upload. You give us permission to store, process and display them as needed to run the Service for you, and to print them if you order a print. You promise that you have the right to use everything you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, hateful or harmful content.
- Do not use the Service to design weapons, or items meant to cause harm.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Printing and orders
Files exported from DesignerX can be printed on your own printer or ordered through our studio. Print results depend on your printer, material and settings, so small differences from the on-screen preview can occur. Prices, timelines and any order terms are confirmed separately at the time of your order.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that exported files will suit your particular purpose. Always check a design before you print it, especially for functional or safety-related parts.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 3DBuildX is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or the Service is discontinued.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Ontario.
