Free lithophane maker: turn a photo into a glowing 3D print

A lithophane is a thin 3D print that shows a photo when light shines through it. Upload a picture to DesignerX and turn it into a backlit panel or a lamp — free, in your browser — then export an STL for your 3D printer or have 3DBuildX print it.

Rectangle, rounded, square, circle, oval, hexagon, heart and arch — a true circle stays perfectly round.

Wrap your photo around a cylinder to make a lamp that glows from the inside.

Made from your own photo

Upload a picture and let DesignerX convert its brightness into thickness.

Print-ready STL

Export a file ready for any FDM printer; print in white or natural filament for the best glow.
